All Art Friday Spotlight

Disability leaves some of us forever broken. Not British artist Lisa Gunn for whom art is a path to healing. She describes her work in progress as "an exploration and realisation of the fallible nature of the female form. . . audiovisual performances inspired by the tragedy of loss and how the physical body fails us. They are about overcoming adversity. . . ."

In this video, Gunn discusses some of her sculpture, installations, and film projections in "Trapezius" at Herbert Art Gallery and Museum, Coventry, on view until June 29.
