Loridan-Ivens is a noted documentary filmmaker-director and actress. Her memoir is about her imprisonment in Auschwitz-Birkenau, Bergen-Belson, and Theresienstadt during World War II. (She speaks, in French, about that experience at Holocaust: A Call to Conscience.)
