Saturday Short

During "Snowzilla", the Washington, D.C., area's 2016 snow storm, parents loudly bemoaned their children's lack of interest in hitting the slopes, building snow-people, creating snow angels, or earning some pocket change by helping their neighbors shovel out.

Would the kids have felt the same way (never mind the season) if they'd seen the film below first?

Watch this once, and you'll understand why The Present (2014) has receive more than 50 awards. A delightful short with a message for all of us, the animation is from the Institute of Animation, Visual Effects and Digital Postproduction, Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg, Ludwigsburg, Germany, a publicly funded film school.
